Subject Matter Expert - Graduate Curriculum | The Profession |
The Art of Education University is seeking exceptional educators to develop and write content for courses within our graduate program. Subject Matter Experts are selected based on subject matter knowledge, writing ability, and experience in the field. SMEs must be able to look critically at the needs of the course and scaffold material while keeping in mind the principles of andragogy. Subject Matter Experts must have K-12 art experience or studio art experience, strong writing and communication skills, technology proficiency, enthusiasm and knowledge of trends and best practices in art education, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines. POSITION DETAILS
Structured as a part-time, contract position. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Payment is issued on the 15th of the month after the project has been completed. This contract is estimated at 5-10 hours per week.

THE PROCESS

Candidates are selected on a project by project basis based on experience, writing ability, and subject area qualifications.
Finalists will participate in an interview with the Lead Learning Experience Designer.
