REMOTE Part-Time Graphic Designer | The Profession | 


The Art of Education University (AOEU) is seeking a highly creative and skilled graphic designer to join our rapidly growing team to collaborate and design a wide variety of print and digital projects that align with AOEU’s brand.  This individual will be highly motivated, capable of delivering creative ideas, and possesses an amazing attention to detail. The Details | Graphic Designer | 


Essential Functions


The Graphic Designer will use their artistic abilities to communicate ideas, inform customers, and solve problems. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Art Director and Marketing team to collaborate on print and digital projects. Projects range from website layouts, printed collateral, social graphics, and design of resources for all AOEU products. The graphic designer will create visual layouts following  the AOEU brand guidelines and is expected to follow company processes and project management guidelines. The Graphic Designer’s work can be done remotely but must meet the desired timelines and expectations of the marketing team.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote work environment. 
  • Communication skills (both oral, video and written)
  • Organization and project management skills.
  • Leadership skills and experience managing both people and processes. 
  • Ability to recognize stakeholder needs and modify development to meet those needs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to come up with creative design solutions while staying on brand. 
  • Positive and engaging personality, mission-driven. 
  • Both people and project management skills. 
  • Skill and ability to quickly learn various technology platforms with ease and confidence.
  • Strong typography, layout and illustration skills. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS preferred.


Work Environment



  • Position requires considerable concentration and focus throughout the day
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time


  • Ability to view computer screens for significant periods of time. The Art of Education University is an online university. Therefore 95-98% of one’s time will be on or using technology.
  • Ability to hear at normal levels and through electronic devices such as laptops, earbuds, phones, etc.

Position Requirements



  •   Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred



  • A minimum of 2 years experience in graphic design

Compensation and Benefits



  • This is a part-time hourly position
  • Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
  • Secure and reliable access to the internet, with the capability to support audio and video calls on occasion, is required for this position.
